Amanda will fight the expansion of Obamacare in Virginia. Expanding Medicaid will result in a significant increase in spending and taxes, costing Virginia taxpayers nearly a billion dollars. And the long term entitlement costs will bury present and future generations of Virginians. The federal government's promise to help cover the cost of Medicaid expansion is a promise that's certain to be broken, leaving Virginia with a bill it can't pay.
